Registrations for the 2025 Winter Season will open on Wednesday December 11th, 2024. Once open, our registration portal can be accessed via the Vipers Netball Club website. Our registration process is a two-step process. Once you have completed your registration and payment via our website, you will also be redirected to the Netball Connect webpage to complete the Netball Queensland registration. Both of these steps are required before you are eligible to train or play.
The Volunteer Levy is a payment which must be paid for every member who registers with us in 2025. The fee will be $40.00 per member, which will be capped at $80.00/family. For instance, if a family has 3 members playing for Vipers this season, a total of $80.00 will be required for the Volunteer Levy, NOT $120.00. This payment can be reimbursed to each member if they participate in a total of 3 hours/member of club sanctioned volunteering activities throughout the season. Please see the following link (Volunteer Levy - Vipers Netball) for further information.
Fair Play Vouchers (Applying for and using FairPlay vouchers | Recreation, sport and arts | Queensland Government) can be applied at time of registration and payment on our website to receive the discount. You are not required to add the Fair Play voucher again to Netball Connect during the second step of the registration process. Alternatively, if you don't have your Fair Play voucher yet, you can add your voucher after registration and full payment to receive a credit (note this is only valid if you have received your voucher before the cut-off date for Round 11 - May 30th, 2025, or earlier if fully allocated).
The following breakdown provides an overview of how your payment will be utilised.
Training location for the 2025 Winter Season are yet to be confirmed. We endeavour to have a venue locked in before the end of 2024. We will publish the training schedule as well as the times for each of our teams once registrations for the 2025 are finalised.
Games are played each Saturday at Downey Park Netball Association grounds at Northey St & Green Terrace, Windsor QLD 4030. The first round for 2025 commences on Saturday April 26th, 2025.
Each player must be correctly attired in a Vipers Netball Club uniform which includes a Vipers dress, black bummers and socks for girls and a Vipers singlet, black shorts and socks for boys. Bummers must be plain black or Vipers-branded. Socks must be plain white (ankle or crew) or Vipers branded. Players who would prefer to wear long tights in lieu of bummers for religious or cultural reasons are very welcome to do so. Please purchase Vipers Netball Club leggings/tights in the online uniform shop and send a quick email to president@vipersnetball.com.au. This will allow us to inform Downey Park Netball Association (DPNA) of the individual exemptions prior to the season commencing. Exemptions must be approved by DPNA before players will be allowed to take the court.
