Vipers Netball Club are currently on the lookout for Coaches for the 2025 Winter Season. You do not need to have any experience, just a passion for the game and a willingness to learn.
A key focus of Vipers Netball Club is game development, promoting participation and enjoyment within the game of netball. Within our own club we structure our coaching to ensure each player is given the best opportunity to develop as a netball player and person both on and off the court. This is achieved through coach education and player development programs.
At Vipers Netball Club we provide the following Support, Development and Education programs:
- Coach Inductions
- Coaching courses through Netball Australia
- Coach Education/Mentoring sessions
- Positional Specific & Core Skill sessions
- Ongoing support, development and access to learning

At the Vipers Netball Club, we believe that great coaches are the heart of our club. Our coaches are more than just leaders on the court—they are mentors who help shape the lives of our players, instilling values of teamwork, respect, and perseverance. We are committed to creating a positive environment where players can develop both their netball skills and their character.
We welcome both experienced coaches and those new to the game. Our Coaching Convenor and experienced staff are here to support you throughout the season, helping you build confidence and coaching skills.
Please note that all coaching appointments will be at the discretion of our Coaching Convenor and Management committee. We value positive behavior from our coaches, both on the sidelines and at training. Any history of poor behavior could affect your chances of being appointed. Additionally, all coaching and management staff must have or be able to obtain a Blue Card to ensure a safe environment for our players. If there are any issues that might affect your application for a Blue Card, please let us know.
Application Process: We will be collecting expressions of interest until the start of Feb. You may not hear back immediately, as we will reach out once we have reviewed all submissions. You will be contacted via email if a position is available or if we would like to meet for a chat. Please understand that multiple candidates may express interest in the same role, and there may be limited opportunities initially, but positions could open up later.
